What's more, longterm use of corticosteroids can cause serious area effects such as high blood circulation pressure, osteoporosis, and adrenal gland damage.Surgery is known as a last-resort treatment for CTS. Through the procedure, the doctor removes a portion of the ligament that forms one aspect of the carpal tunnel.
